Breed: Boerboel Mastiff/XL Bully–type mix 

No cats, no other dogs, and absolutely no kids. 

Good walker, halter trained. Medium-energy love bug, would love to laze about on a couch with you or play tug-o-war for hours! Experienced stuffed animal devourer. He needs a patient owner with no other pets or children! 75+ pounds of pure muscle. He’s been with us for 3 years!

She was found in the middle of a highway, dumped, terrified, and trying to survive traffic. 

Cindy Lou loves people, kids, and walks on leash like she’s been practicing her whole life. She’s vaccinated, microchipped, and dog‑friendly, she just asks for respectful space from dogs who get too pushy.

She’s become one of the volunteer favorites. She’s been sitting in the shelter since 2/16/26.

Breed: Pit-Pointer mix

Pickle has been waiting since 2/17/25.

He was a stray we had to catch gently and patiently, terrified, weaving in and out of traffic, trying to survive on his own.

And even now, he’s still shy, still unsure, still waiting for someone he can finally trust.

Pickle is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and so ready for a real home.

Breed: Lab/Great Dane Mix

Chispa survived months of starvation and neglect, wandering the streets alone until the shelter took him in.

Today he’s healthy, gentle, people‑friendly, dog‑friendly with proper intros. 

He walks beautifully on leash. He’s vaccinated, microchipped.

Age: 10y

Breed: Pit

Baby lost one eye and has some damage to her other eye but it hasn’t held her back. Brilliant walker. She spreads love and affection to friends of all kinds, enjoys a pup cup and savors a nice walk. Baby is a senior dog who would thrive in an apartment life style or any home, as long as it’s not with cats. She hates cats and that’s her only imperfection.

Nala is spayed, has all her vaccines, microchipped, is friendly with all dogs and she is kid friendly. 

Age: 10-12y

He came to the shelter on 10/1/24 after his owner became homeless and tied him to a pole at the shelter, then walked away without telling staff.

Jackson is fully vaccinated, microchipped.

Dog friendly. Kid friendly.

Not suited for cats.

Loves dog park days, long walks, still plays like a puppy when someone gives him a chance.Big boy, approx 55-58lbs. He is the sweetest big guy. Jackson loves to be pet.

Breed: Husky / Pyrenees / Anatolian mix

Born in a  creek bed, cared for by the unhoused in an encampment. He wandered into town and was sideswiped by a car. Despite the impact, this almost‑2‑year‑old pup walked away with only scrapes and minor bruising. A citizen saw the blood, scooped him up, and rushed him to safety.

And even after all that?

Cooper is super dog friendly, super people friendly, gentle, social, and so ready to bond.

Unsure on cats.

Papas is 55lbs of love and fun. Owner surrender on 7/23/25… and he’s still in the same rural kennel in Coalinga today.

He was 1.5 years old when he came in. Now he’s about 2.5, a whole year of his young life spent behind bars.

He’s kennel trained, leash trained, and dog friendly.

He loves people.

He’s just fearful walking in public because he’s never had a real life outside the shelter.
